◆  Plunger Pulse Solenoid Valve Optipow 105 V1617803-0500

Introduction

Optiow 105 solenoid valve is a type of piston type electromagnetic pulse valve, specially designed for pulse blowing dust cleaning systems in industrial dust collectors.

The valve body is made of aluminum alloy die-casting and treated with hard anodizing and PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene), which has excellent corrosion resistance and wear resistance.

It is mainly equipped with a circular airbag installed vertically, used to control high-pressure air and instantly blow filter bags to remove accumulated dust.

The V1617803-0500 belongs to the OPTIPOW105 series of piston-type pulse cleaning valves. The valve body is designed for use with AC 220V, 50Hz solenoid coils and is compatible with mainstream industrial power grids in China, Southeast Asia, and Europe.

Function

Volume A connected to the pressure tank, via the slot between the valve house and the plunger. There is same pressure in the volume A as in the pressure tank.

Due to the larger pressurised surface of the plunger in volume A, the plunger is pressed towards the pulse pipe and seals between the pressure tank and the pulse pipe.

The volume B is via the solenoid valve connected to the pilot air. The area is larger on pilot air side so the pilot membrane is pressed down towards the top of the valve house and seals off the volume A from the ambient.

Maintenance Instructions

The maintenance of Optipow 105 diaphragm/pulse valve includes safety relief, routine impurity cleaning, and O-ring inspection to prevent leakage and slow operation. The expected service life of this valve is 1000000 operations, and following a step-by-step operation process can maximize efficiency.

1. Safety and preparation work

Pressure relief: Before performing any operation, please isolate the equipment and fully depressurize the pressure tank to ambient atmospheric pressure.

Protect the pressure tank: Do not leave the hole of the pressure tank open to prevent particles or moisture from entering. If the homework is paused, please immediately reinstall the old valve or cover the hole.

Cut off power supply: Before disassembly, please cut off the power supply to the solenoid valve.

2. Check and clean the interior of the air storage tank

Before installing replacement parts, please check the interior of the air storage tank. Use a vacuum cleaner to remove accumulated particles, dust, or moisture. 

Cleaning channel: Check for foreign objects inside the valve body. Use clean compressed air to blow clean the internal channels and remove accumulated dust. 

Check the pulse tube: Ensure that the top of the pulse tube is completely smooth and there are no burrs that may tear the rubber gasket.

3. Disassemble and replace the valve

Loosen the bolts and remove the faulty Optipow unit from the storage tank. 

Inspect vulnerable parts: Check for signs of burning, cracking, or aging on the solenoid valve, diaphragm, plunger, and O-ring. 

Replace worn parts to ensure airtightness.

4. Reinstall the lubricating O-ring

Lightly apply lubricating oil or wet the O-ring on the outside of the valve body. 

Reinstall the valve: Place the plunger on top of the pulse tube. Align the valve body with the plunger to ensure that the solenoid valve points in the correct direction. 

Tighten bolts: Tighten the four bolts to the limit by hand. 

Finally:use the tool to fine tune in a cross pattern to avoid damaging the O-ring.
