Why is the pulse valve (dust collector solenoid valve) called the "heart" of the dust collector?
We have compiled the most common "illnesses" of the electromagnetic pulse valve. By following this guide, you can quickly complete the diagnosis and repair.
1.SPRING BREAKAGE ➔ CONTINUOUS LEAKAGE
Cause: Corrosion, metal fatigue, spring breakage
Solution: Replace with anti-corrosion spring; Install a filter (with a precision of ≤ 5μm) at the intake end to prevent impurities from damaging the mechanism.
2.DIAPHRAGM DAMAGE ➔ WEAK BLOWING, FLACCID
Cause: Rubber aging, high-temperature deformation, damage caused by oil in the compressed air
Solution: Use fluororubber (FKM) diaphragm, with a temperature resistance of up to 230℃; Check monthly, replace immediately if cracks are larger than 0.5mm.
3.VALVE CORE BLOCKAGE ➔ VALVE DOES NOT OPERATE
Cause: Water, oil, solid particles in the compressed air
Solution: Install a high-quality air source treatment triplex unit (filter + pressure regulating + oil mist); Daily discharge of condensate water; Configure a dew point ≤ -20℃ dryer.
4.THROTTLE HOLE BLOCKAGE ➔ ABNORMAL BLOWING
Cause: Dust enters the channel, condensate water deposits
Solution: Use 0.5mm copper wire to clear,严禁 using iron wire (will damage accuracy)； Install a check valve on the blowing pipe.
5.WINDING COIL BURNOUT ➔ NO SIGNAL RESPONSE
Cause： Voltage fluctuation， moisture-induced short circuit， overload
Solution： Use a multimeter to measure resistance (normal value is approximately 42Ω)； Install a stabilizer and dehumidifier heater in the control cabinet.
6.SEALING RING WEAR ➔ PRESSURE DROP
Cause： Valve cover bolt loosening， sealing ring aging and hardening
Solution： Use a torque wrench to tighten the bolt (torque approximately 25N・m)； Apply silicone-based lubricating grease to the sealing ring to extend its lifespan.
7.CONTROLLER PROGRAM FAILURE ➔ ABNORMAL WORKING MODE
Reasons: PLC parameter loss
Solution: Restart and check the parameters:
Pulse time: 0.15 seconds
Pulse interval: 15 seconds
Blowing pressure: 0.2–0.6 MPa
